Default When is it time to change Transmission Fluid and Antifreeze

Okay so i went to the dealer for an Inspection and an oil change (since I was there) and when the car was done 2 hours later the service rep said that I was due to change the Tranny fluid as well as the antifreeze. So i asked if im supposed to do it now and he said it was time. I thought it was a little weird because I only have 12000 miles on the car and I've had the car for 2 years now. I told him that I will take care of it myself. When I got home I looked in the manual and it said the tranny fluid had to be changed at 60000. has anyone ever changed the Tranny fluid and antifreeze as 12K? Ohh the manual also said i needed to change the AC filter. Has anyone done this? it is a difficult process?
Thanks Guys

It's not just miles, it's also time effective. example...just because I only drive my SRT about 3000 miles per year, I still need to change the oil every 3 months or so.

He most likely is going by the fact that the car is now 2 years old and the time is up for the recommended amount on the fluids. I would probably check the fluids out and see what condition they are in because I believe they are probably still fine. However it's could cause issue with warranty at some point.

The AC filter, (if you have one) is very easy to change out. There is a vent on the passenger side of the engine bay up by the windshield that will pop out and then you can lift the filter straight up out of the slot. Pop a new one in, and close the vent back up. Takes 2 minutes.

yea i stay on top of the oil changes but the transmission fluid is what kinda threw me off. Oil i change every 3 months. My concern was the tranny fluid. Im pretty sure the dealer would probably rip me a new one if i had them do that. So is there a specific time or milage that the tranny fluid needs to be replaced like the oil? Also when shoulf the antifreeze be changed.

The dealer is full of shit even from a time view.

The coolant is 60 months or 102,000 miles.

The tranny fluid is 60,000 miles and isn't showing a time.

Yo Bro- I recently changed my tranny fluid at the dealer because I knew that I recently cooked it so I did not wait til the 60k mark and it cost me about $2 and some change. I wanna say it was less than $230.

Also I don't know if the V6s and the V8s have the same radiators but I just had to drop almost $900 on a new radiator and a flush and fill because my radiator was leaking. it was busted or corroded through which could've had something to do with old anti-freeze but again mind you I only have about 45-46k miles on it. I can't really remember cuz I havent drove the car in about 3 weeks.

I just recently changed my transmission and differential fluids (60k mile service). The materials and labor were expensive, but they were needed after driving the vehicle after the service.

By the way, I used Royal Purple MaxATF and Royal Purple 75W-140 Differential Fluid. The vehicle is quicker, and the ride is smoother I also used Royal Purple 10W-30 Engine Oil (+ Fran X2 Extended Guard Oil Filter; 7k mile interval) and Royal Purple Purple Ice in the coolant system.
