We don't have a timing belt...

We have a serpentine belt, and timing chain. You are most likely referring to the serpentine belt. It isn't hard to replace at all, you will just need a pulley tensioner tool to release the tension on the belt while you change it.

depends what motor you have, if you have the 3.5 you have a timing belt, the 2.7 and 5.7 run on timing chains. as far as doing it yourself, if you have done one before then you would be ok doing this one, if you haven't done one before i wouldn't recommend doing it yourself. if you mis-time the motor it could be ugly.
where are you located?

The 3.5 has a timing belt...damn...how ancient of a design...

If it is indeed a timing belt...don't do it yourself...not worth the problems if you don't have experience.

yes the 3.5 is run by a timing belt and is recommended to be changed at 100k. while you are there you might as well change the water pump since it is run by the timing belt and would be a pain if you had to go back in afterwards...

Replacing those parts isn't all that difficult, getting to them however, is another story altogether. I would definitely have it done. As far as the water pump, wel I would wait til it comes in and have them done at the same time.
