Dear 300c fans,

My name's Philippe, I'm from Holland. I became a member of this forum especially for finding help in identifying a 300c I saw on the road, next to me at the traffic light in Maastricht, Holland. I have never been a Chrysler fan even, but I fell in love instantly - I need to get a car like this or build a mod that is similar. The shape - the colors - simply magnificent!!!

What I would like to find out, and I really hope you can help me, is whether this was an existing kit or a completely customized car. I will list the details below.

I called all dealers and pimp shops in the neighborhood, but nobody knows the car or the build. Chrysler Holland tells me they have heard of a purple/gold limited edition, but it was never sold in Holland so they cannot tell me more. So close, but no cigar there. Nothing found on the net either.

Pics, referrals, links - anything. I am willing to become a pimping expert just for this car, I'm that desperate!

Please, please help out a guy who fell in love with this 300c, or if you know someone who knows everything about existing kits or special editions, send him my email or a link to this thread!

Thanks in advance. Here is a description, I hope it rings bells with somebody!

DESCRIPTION
It was a 300c
it was dark purple, I first thought it was black, I believe Chrysler calls the color 'cordova' - it had an embossed goldish tag saying 'cordova' on its side - that is what makes me believe it was not a completely customized build
It had yellowish gold wheels
it had yellowish gold trimmings
I did not see the front, but I would be very surprised if it didn't have a gold grill as well
I'm not sure if it had a spoiler or window spoiler, but I think the hood had something more bulgy in shape, or a special inlet that the normal 300c doesn't have.

I have my chrome mirror chipped and looking for a replacement. Too bad I have to buy the whole mirror assembly rather than just the chrome cap. I am in Australia and parts are ultra expensive here. Mirror from USA has no power folding function so I can't do a direct swap. :4-dontknow:

I see some OEM chrome mirror assembly from ebay which is reasonably priced. I wonder if I can just pop the chrome cover off and replace mine. Anyone had tried and knows the cap is an exact replicate?

Or anyone knows if there are stick on chrome cover from ebay that can fit over a factory chrome mirror?

I know that many of the 05 owners have run into issues with removing the long moudling fom the doors. Has anyone run into any issues just removing the Hemi C badge from the trunk? And maybe the ones in front of the doors? I think this will greatly add to the sleeper factor. I was washing the car this afternoon and I finally came to the conclusion that I want to rip the trunk badge off at a minimum. I am just curious....I am ripping it off (following Z procedure) tomorrow regardless. If there are paint bubbles I will 3m its ass back on. WD40 still a viable manner to do this? I want to do this mod with things on hand if possible.
