First off, I would like to thank all the many people of several different forums and even Facebook, that came out today! You all made this the most succesful meet in GTALX history! You all made this happen, thank you!

A rough estimation of cars that came was about 175 give or take, with cars that filled the whole entire lot and even spilled out into the lot beside us, not to mention the cars that came and went. That is far off of the 151 that was on our list!! And I must say, I have never seen so many Challengers all in one place!! And to top it off, the sun was shining, and it was hot! And I have a sunburn to prove it! lol!

I would also like to thank the girlfriend of WagRt, who invited our local CTV news crew, to do a piece for the news. It was a pleasure to meet you and talk as well! And that was the first time I got interviewed for TV..was pretty nervous. Thanks again, you guys rock! Here's some pictures of the interviews of others that I took and the CTV news truck!!!
Putting your name down for this across the Z, will be a little different this time around. With popularity to our meet, many Mopar clubs, such as AvengerForumZ, CaliberForumZ, ChallengerForumZ, ChargerForumZ, NitroForumZ and RamForumZ joining us at our meets, it has been difficult for me to go from forum to forum to keep updates. Mopar-Nation.com was created as an umbrella site for all these forumz to meet in one place. With that said, please take a few minutes, to register there, then add your name to the list in this thread: Mopar-Nation: GTALX Meet & Greet Scheduled For Saturday, May 29th, 2010!

So I bought a couple of HID kits from DDM. One 3000k kit and a 5000k kit for my wife's car. I loved the color of the 5000k kit in mine, but Xenon Depot's kit turned out to be pure garbage (if anyone wants a pair of ballasts that are water logged let me know, they certainly didn't want me to mail them as proof). In either case I just want to see how yellow the 3000k bulbs are. Now that I have 3000k, 5000k, 6000k, 8000k, and 10000k bulbs in my garage I'll do a real color comparison as opposed to the bullshit ones (photochops) all HID vendors pass off as legitimate. I'm not sure why I got the 3000k in H1, I'm not going to use them as my low beams, maybe I'll put them in the high beams or just sell the bulbs and run 6000k high and 8000k lows. I got options.

Also ordered a yard of Neffy Wrap. I'm not sure what I want to wrap yet. I plan to move the window switches to the center and making the entire door panel arm rest a padded surface. Not sure where I'd put the mirror control, maybe I'll look into an alternate way to control it or move it somewhere on the lower part of the dash. I may wrap the extra door pulls I have and see how they look installed, but I don't see my SRT pulls going anywhere in the near future.

Also ordered the 4 channel remote to control my halos. I'll have to get creative with the other 3 channels...

Finally I ordered something for my secret illuminated cup holder project. LEDs are for pussies, I'm going big with this one.

Next up is Eibach upper control arms and some snow tires. After that I can't order any more parts until I start clearing out some of the shit I got now. Hell I can't even store parts in the garage anymore, my trunk is full of electrical parts for the car and the guest bedroom is starting to fill up with more of my crap.

I'm going to have a sale thread soon that includes:

Three 320GB HDs
Two 500GB HDs
One 750GB HD (I may not even have this anymore, I have 12 hard drives total running my home server)
Dell Inspiron 1501 (no clue what my wife's specs are at the moment, but we're selling this thing cheap)

Now the hard drives should be of particular interest. I won't say why, but with the five 1TB HDs I'm not selling, there's gotta be something that can make the sale worth it for you.

 MAINTENANCE PROGRAM:

1. Always remember to warm up and cool down with stretching and flexibility exercises prior to and after every workout.

2. Use published weight training exercises for strength training.

3. Keep yourself hydrated and fueled doing workouts.

Generally I alternate between the events of week 5 and 6. I haven't really gone too much beyond this because to be honest this is just to keep myself in condition in case I have to go back to my old job. Normally when a switch or router needs to be configured I don't need to rope climb and ruck 12 miles to get to it, I'll just take the trailblazer

A few people had PMed me a bit back about my workout program, at work i do crossfit, but on my own I stick to my PT program I got from selection. Here it is for all you cool guy/girl wannabes.

SED-HQ
SUBJECT: Assessment and Selection Course

Enclosure 2

PHYSICAL TRAINING PROGRAM

I. OBJECTIVE: Achieve and maintain a condition of physical readiness sufficient to pass the APFT with a minimum of 80% in each event, and be able to move over various types of terrain for extended periods of time while wearing a rucksack weighing up to 50 lbs. (35 lbs. for females).

II. REASON: Overall aerobic conditioning and development of leg, shoulder, back and stomach muscles must be developed to successfully complete the physical requirements of the Assessment and Selection Course.

III. CONSIDERATIONS:

1. Attaining physical fitness is not an overnight process; the body must go through three stages. The first is the toughening stage which lasts about two weeks. During this time the body goes through a soreness and recovery period. When a muscle with a poor blood supply (such as a little used muscle) is exercised the waste products produced by the exercise collect faster than the blood can remove them. This acid waste builds up in the muscle tissue and irritates the nerves in the muscle fiber causing soreness. As the exercise continues, the body is able to circulate the blood more rapidly through the muscles and remove the waste materials, thereby eliminating soreness.

2. The slow improvement stage is the second stage in attaining physical fitness. As the body passes through the toughening stage and continues into the slow improvement stage, the volume of blood circulating in the muscle increases the body functions more efficiently. In the first few weeks the improvement is rapid, but as a higher level of skill and conditioning is reached, the improvement becomes less noticeable. The body reaches its maximum level of performance between six and ten weeks. The intensity of the program and individual differences account for the variance in time.

3. The sustaining stage is the third stage during which physical fitness is maintained. It is necessary to continue exercising at approximately the same intensity to retain the condition developed.

4. Select boots that are comfortable and well broken-in, but not worn out. Ensure the inside has no wrinkles, rough, or uneven surfaces. Leather boots can be treated with mink oil to soften the leather and speed up the breaking-in process. Choose a boot that is comfortable and has considerable ankle support. Allow for thicker socks and foot swelling when fitting your boots. Any type of boot is acceptable; past experience has proven US Army jungle boots or standard issue combat boots to be satisfactory. “Hi-tech” or “GSG-9” style boots are discouraged as they provide little support. Train in the same boots that you will bring to the course. Quality socks are just as important as proper footwear. Form-fitting socks will enhance the performance of your feet. During your training program, ensure that you keep your socks dry and do not allow your socks to slip down inside your boots, as this will cause blisters and abrasions. This becomes especially important if two pair of socks are worn. As you progress in your training program, the feet will naturally toughen and become accustomed to the boots. This is important in preventing blisters as you progress through your training and into the Assessment and Selection Course.

5. To utilize proper mountain walking techniques, the weight of the body must be kept directly over the feet and the sole of the shoe must be placed flat on the ground by taking small
steps at a steady pace. The knee must be locked on every step in order to rest the muscles of the legs. Step over or around obstacles, never on. Steep slopes should be traversed, and if necessary, climbed in a zigzag direction rather than straight up. Descending is most easily done by coming straight down a slope. The back must be kept straight and knees bent to take up the shock of each step. Practice on steps if hills are not readily available.

6. Plan a progressive PT program and set realistic goals along the way. Schedule a hard workout day to be followed by a less strenuous day.

7. Stretching and warm-up exercises should be incorporated into each workout. Spend 20 to 30 minutes prior to each workout enhancing flexibility through calisthenics and stretches described in FM 21-20, Physical Readiness Training.

8. As mentioned previously, train with the rucksack wearing boots. For running events, wear running shoes to minimize shin splints and to strengthen ankles.

This will allow you to text your car to control 8 devices and receive status from 4 devices. For example, you could text your car to start it instead of relying on a remote start keyfob, or turn the seat heaters on. If you were to tap into the alarm it would text your phone if your alarm was going off, or everytime your car is turned on it could text you (so you know if your wife/kids are taking it for a joyride).

*4 Channel 4 Function remote*

This guy controls 4 different components, and has 4 functions for EACH component....

4 Channel 4 Function remote

http://www.svc.com/rm08.html

This guy controls 4 different components, and has 4 functions for EACH component. It pretty much blows the recent remote being offered here out of the water. Unfortunately it doesn't look as cool but the options are totally better.

4 Channel remote

http://www.svc.com/rm04.html

Wow look, a 4 channel remote which is exactly what I wanted from our vendor. And its 30 bucks. Device 1 has the large on/off buttons (halos) and devices 2-4 have smaller ones (my bullshit I just want to run off a remote for the sake of doing it). The remote is simpler then the other one, so I'll probably get this unless our vendor can come up with a better looking design.

12V car plug to 4 pin molex adapter

http://www.svc.com/ad601.html

converts the lighter to a 4 pin molex connector. This would be handy if you were adding some sort of external HD for your stereo in the car, it eliminates the big brick that comes with cases to convert AC to DC

Bulgin style switch (ring)

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/87...tl=g52c343s894

Rocker switches are for pussies, this bad boy would look a hell of a lot cooler then some cheap looking radio shack switch. This and the next one come in black or silver housings and have either red, blue, green, white, or UV lighting.

Bulgin style switch (dot)

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/87...tl=g52c343s894

Again, this beats the pants off rocker switches.

Nylon mesh cable sleeving

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/37...tl=g35c175s361

Comes in .125", .25", and .5" diameters and damn near every color. Sold by the foot. Loose wires look like shit, wrap it up. Add some heat shrink to the ends and it looks pretty damn professional if you want to make harnesses (like for HID flicker free kits).

Replacement screens for EVIC/Radio

http://www.matrixorbital.com/

The joy of one of my friends designing CPUs for a living is he says he should be able to capture the signals and convert them to be able to display on another screen. He can't do much till I get home, but he's done crazier things before (like adding memory seats/mirrors in his car that adjust based on an RFID chip in his wallet. If the car starts without the controller reading the chip, then the seats and mirrors sporadicly move nonstop until the car is shut off)

Pretty much this summarizes the internal battle that goes on inside of me everyday. I've come to learn that Samuel can't coexist with SGT. Gerry, and it's a constant battle for me to figure out how to juggle the two polar opposites. I chopped this one up while I was in one of my manic states and I don't think anyone else can truly find a sense of appreciation in it unless they could spend a day in my shoes. It just explains everything.

I blacked out in Korea for what seemed to be a week (it was 9 or so hours). While I was in my pseudo coma I had a dream that I was tiny and I was trying to hide from everyone trying to stomp the roach. Naturally I chose to hide in the fridge. After regaining my consciousness, I had to photochop it because it was pure brilliance. When alcohol starts to destroy my brain cells and gives me lucid dreams, even in my dreams I choose the booze.
